Kamala Beach - Phuket
Kamala Beach is one of the larger beaches in Phuket, and well marked with sign post. Drive along the coast road, north from Patong, where you will climb a big hill. Located at the top is a spectacular panoramic view of Kamala. At the bottom of the hill is a left hand turn leading to the beach.
Located approximately 26 kilometers from Phuket City, Hat Kamala is a relatively secluded 2-kilometer beach that is suitable for total relaxation. Accommodations are available.
It is generally a good bathing beach. When the tide is in, the centre and north end of the beach slope quite steeply into the water making it a little treacherous for children or non-swimmers.
