Bang Tao Beach - Phuket
This glorious stretch of sand is a magnificent eight-kilometers and is the site of the Laguna complex, so named due to the several lagoons located near the beach. The complex consists of five upper-market hotels and a challenging golf course. This complex dominates the central area of this Beach.
Located at the south end of the beach are a number of hotels, and bungalow operations, and is a good location to scout beach bungalows. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants located in this area.
The northern end of the beach is very quiet. At the very north end of the beach, on Soi Layan 2, is Layan Beach Restaurant which maintains a block of sun loungers. This is a great spot for a quiet getaway on the beach.
